These problems require team work, social action, the intervention of competent authorities and the industrial sections compromise. However, there are some things that can make the difference, like for example actions made with good will and consciousness of each person to improve its daily habits to have a healthier an integral life. Activities as separate from the source, recycle, be aware of water and energy consumption are a good start.

Some articles we use in our daily house chores may also contribute to the pollution of our shelter because they are manufactured with hazardous substances, some of these may include the use of products containing naphthalene, stain removers, spray cans and aerosols, fluorescent bulbs, detergents, etc.

There are alternatives to environmental problems, such as for agriculture and gardening to have a space to create compost is a very beneficial and healthy practice and to nurture your plants. In the case of landfills, it is important to ensure a proper manage to wastes that don't have a normal management or wastes that can't have management at all, without compromising our Environment and natural resources, examples of these wastes are: chemicals products, non-biodegradable and not recyclable or reusable substances, taking always into the planning of a landfill to prevent the pollution of the water resources. In the group of chemical products are included antifreeze, insecticides, batteries, Styrofoam, PVC, other toxic substances, etc.
